| Our Shea Butter is handcrafted by a women's cooperative in Togo, West Africa. They gather the nuts from wild shea trees and create this incredibly high quality butter using traditional methods they have handed down over several hundred years. This group of strong, creative women have pulled themselves out of oppression and poverty and now make excellent wages, support their families and are sending children in their villages to universities on full scholarships. They are working to make their facilities and vehicles run exclusively on clean, sustainable energy. We are blessed with the opportunity to work with these amazing women.
We took this solid, heavy butter and whipped it into a light, easily applied souffle' with our signature Samadhi scent. Enjoy!
